In Wrike, you can build folders, projects and tasks to suit your organization’s structure. Tasks are like calls to action where one task leads to one action. Folders give your work structure, allowing you to color code different tasks to better organize your environment. Projects are made up of many tasks leading to the same goal. Each project has task owners, statuses, and start and finish dates.
Other top features include:
Sharing and collaboration. Wrike lets you share absolutely everything, e.g. a folder, task, sub-task, or even your entire dashboard. Sharing has a top-down logic, so if you share something from the top of a folder tree, everything within that folder gets shared too. Sharing is also available through the common section on every level, meaning you can share and comment on individual projects and tasks.
Workflows and request forms. Every task in Wrike has a certain set of statuses you can choose from. The defaults are: new, assigned, in progress, in review, approved, completed, on hold, rejected, and cancelled. If the default doesn’t include your preferences, you can create your own custom workflow from various categories including SEO, analytics, publishing, and marketing. For example, the SEO workflow includes the following statuses: link building, developing strategy, keyword analysis, content optimization, social optimization, and tagging.
Monitoring panel. This section of the platform allows you to monitor progress from one place. The Inbox shows all incoming alerts. The Dashboards section allows you to actively monitor your environment and view updates of tasks or processes that have been added/removed from your task list. The Reports section lets you analyse historical data and create reports from custom or pre-built forms.
Wrike offers eight visualization options, all accessible with a single click:
